Where agronomy meets the sky.

Farmers first. Agronomy always.

Skysense protects specialty crop growers from bird and wildlife loss with reliable, consistent, and proven drone service — so farmers harvest more of what they grow.

Leadership

Meet the founders

Entrepreneurs and engineers with backgrounds in AI, agronomy, and precision agriculture, brought together to solve a problem growers live with every season.

Justin Clune

Justin Clune

CEO

Justin saw the problem firsthand — working on his dad's farm, watching labor-saving opportunities go unaddressed season after season. That experience planted the idea for Skysense. Before that, he spent four years as a scientific researcher, including at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and went on to found, scale, and exit the tech startup HouseCare. Justin holds a Master's in Engineering from the University of Tokyo and a Bachelor's in Business and Engineering from UC Berkeley.

Philippe Remy

Philippe Remy

Chief AI Officer

Philippe builds the systems that make Skysense's drones unpredictable to birds, so they never habituate to a pattern. He has 13 years of experience in AI research engineering, was the first key hire at Cogent Labs, and has published more than 100 open-source repositories. Philippe holds a Master's in Statistical Mathematics and Probability from Imperial College London and a Bachelor's in Engineering from the French Grandes Écoles.

Philip Bergqvist

Philip Bergqvist

CTO

Philip builds the software that keeps Skysense reliable and consistent, season after season. He has more than 15 years of professional software development experience, with a track record of founding successful companies including Unified Remote and AwardFares. Philip holds a Master's in Engineering from the University of Bristol with First Class Honors.

Patrick Williams

Patrick Williams

Chief Agronomic Officer

Patrick has spent his career in the field, not behind a desk — more than 17 years as an agronomist with the J.R. Simplot Company, working directly with growers on the ground. That experience is what drives his focus at Skysense — closing the gap between traditional farming methods and the tools growers actually need today. Patrick holds a BSc in Agricultural Technology & Management from Washington State University.
