Skysense is proud to welcome Patrick Williams as Chief Agronomic Officer.
Patrick joins us after more than 17 years as an agronomist with the J.R. Simplot Company, where he worked directly with growers on the ground — in the field, not behind a desk. He holds a BSc in Agricultural Technology & Management from Washington State University.
His addition marks an important moment for Skysense: bridging the gap between technical capability and deep agronomic knowledge. Effective bird mitigation isn’t just a technology problem — it’s an agronomy problem. Bird pressure varies by crop, by geography, and by the week of the season, and building the right protection program means understanding all three.
“My focus is closing the gap between traditional farming methods and the tools growers actually need today,” says Patrick.
With Patrick on board, every Skysense program is built with a grower’s-eye view of the field — so we can speak to farmers as peers, and protect more of what they grow.
